What size storage units are offered?

We offer a variety of storage units to fit your needs. 10X30 Outdoor Drive-Up Access, 10X20 Outdoor Drive-Up Access, 10X15 Outdoor Drive-Up Access, 10X10 Outdoor Drive-Up Access, 5X10 Outdoor Drive-Up Access, 10X10 Indoor Climate Controlled, 10X15 Indoor Climate Controlled, 10X30 and 10X40 Outdoor Parking Storage (Boats, Trailers, RV's).

Do I need to bring my own lock?

Eastside Self Storage offers you to buy a lock at the time of move-in for a $15 fee. Personal locks are allowed. A lock must be on the unit at all times unless you are there at the unit. At the end of the lease agreement if you purchased a lock through us, undamaged locks may be returned to the drop off box for a $10 refund.

Does Eastside Self Storage require insurance?

We do require the tenant to carry insurance whether it be through us or an outside source. Proof and record of any outside insurance is required before renting a unit. Insurance tends to cover personal property located in a storage facility against theft, vandalism, and weather-related damage, up to your policy's limits and minus any deductible. The amount covered and items covered vary on the policy.

Can I store anything in my self-storage unit?

The rented space may be used only for the purpose of storing personal property. Rented space shall not be used for residential purposes and shall not be used for storage of live animals. A further list of prohibited goods can be found under the "Info" tab at the top of this page.

How long is the lease term?

The lease term is on a month-to-month basis. The lease shall be automatically extended each month unless you complete and turn in a termination form ten (10) days prior to the end of the then current rental month.

Should I rent a climate-controlled storage unit?

There are many benefits to a climate controlled unit. Climate controlled units protect against humidity. Humidity can cause damage to many different items. From furniture to books to clothing, moisture can ruin your items without you even realizing it's happening. A self storage unit with climate-control will allow you to have a consistent environment for your items.
